Xizang Shigatse Peace Airport

2010-12-08

Shigatse Peace Airport is located in the east of Dongfang Jiangdang Township, Sangzhuzi District, Shigatse City, Xizang Autonomous Region, next to National Highway 318, 43 kilometers away from the urban area of Sangzhuzi District, Shigatse City, at an altitude of 3782 meters. It is the fifth civil airport in Xizang after Lhasa Gongga Airport, Changdu Bangda Airport, Nyingchi Milin Airport and Alikunsha Airport. Its navigation has further improved the air transport guarantee capacity in Xizang Autonomous Region, and improved the air transport network layout and comprehensive transportation system in the region. The Shigatse Airport construction project, with a total investment of 532 million yuan, is one of the 188 key projects built by the state in Xizang during the "11th Five Year Plan" period, which can meet the takeoff and landing requirements of Airbus A319 and Boeing 737.

Jiangsu Sfere Electric Co., Ltd. has undertaken the power monitoring system of the central distribution station of the airport, using the PD19 series intelligent measurement and control instrument as the underlying acquisition equipment. Based on user needs, a power monitoring system suitable for the project has been developed on the basis of Sfere PMS.

The system includes high and low voltage and analog screens. As the equipment is concentrated in the central distribution station, the system server and communication management machine are installed on the monitoring console of the central distribution station. The monitoring equipment is connected to the communication management machine inside the console through RS485 bus, and the communication management machine uploads data to the server.

The high-voltage part of the system has functions such as remote opening and closing, fault and protection event alarms, switch status, handcart position, and grounding knife position change prompts, SOE event inquiry, load curve display, and real-time display of various analog and status quantities.

The low-voltage circuit has functions such as switch status display, communication abnormality alarm, detailed remote measurement data display, and generating electricity consumption reports that meet user needs.

In addition, the system also communicates in real-time with the simulation screen, uploading the switch status of the low-voltage circuit and three-phase current data to the simulation screen in real time. The positions of the high-voltage switch, handcart, and grounding knife are also transmitted to the simulation screen in real time, making it convenient for on-site workers to understand the power consumption situation at any time.
