Beijing Capital International Airport is the most important, largest, well-equipped, and busiest large-scale international airport in China's geographical location. Beijing Capital International Airport is not only the air gateway and window for foreign exchanges in the capital city of China, Beijing, but also the most important aviation hub of Chinese civil aviation, the radiation center of China's civil aviation network, and currently the busiest civil airport in China.

Beijing Capital International Airport has undergone three phases and eight large-scale renovations and expansions since 1965. On January 1, 1980, Terminal 1 was officially opened. On November 1, 1999, Terminal 2 was fully operational. Since March 28, 2004, after three years and nine months of hard work, Beijing Capital International Airport has completed the construction project of the world's largest single terminal, Terminal 3, with good and fast "Chinese speed". Since then, the hardware resources of Beijing Capital International Airport have been effectively expanded, becoming the first and only airport in the Asia Pacific region to have three terminals, three runways, and two towers operating simultaneously, and has entered the ranks of world-class super large airports.
