Chengdu Metro Line 2

Chengdu Metro Line 2 is a main subway line in the southeast to northwest direction of Chengdu. It was approved and started construction in 2007, and the first phase of the project was opened on September 16, 2012. It is the second subway line in Chengdu and the first subway line connecting the second circle of districts and counties. It is operated by Chengdu Metro Co., Ltd. Serving Pixian County, High tech Zone, Jinniu District, Qingyang District, Jinjiang District, Chenghua District, and Longquanyi District in Chengdu City.

The Chengdu Metro Line 2 from Chengdu Administrative College to Chadianzi Bus Station was opened on September 16, 2012, from Chadianzi Bus Station to Xipu Station on June 28, 2013, and from Chengdu Administrative College to Longquanyi Station on October 26, 2014. At this point, the entire Chengdu Metro Line 2 has been put into operation, and trains are operated using both large and small routes.

The total operating length of Chengdu Metro Line 2 is 42.3 kilometers, with 32 stations, including 2 transfer stations and two vehicle bases, Hongliu Comprehensive Base and Hongguang Parking Lot.
