Tangshan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock enterprise established and established in May 1994 by Hebei Jidong Cement Group Co., Ltd. through targeted fundraising, based on the original Hebei Jidong Cement Plant. In 1996, the A-share stock of Jidong Cement was issued online and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, making it the largest cement producer and supplier in northern China. The predecessor of the company, Hebei Jidong Cement Plant, started construction in 1981 and was completed in December 1983. After national acceptance and handover between China and Japan, it was officially put into production on January 1, 1985, and is known as the cradle of China's new dry process cement industry.
